What Parent’s Say
As luck would have it. I met Ms. Rose as her Mom aka: Mom mo. and her dad
aka: Pap, when she was in need of a bus drive to do pumpkin Patch field trips.
I was the lucky person to fill that request.
Ms. Rose was always so great with the kids and their parents, she made me feel like
part of the family. The bus ride was full of fun songs and games. All teaching important an d
respectful qualities.
We would go to the pumpkin patch and begin a new experience each child. A great
repeat time for those that had been there before.
Songs were sung. Hayrides to the pumpkin patch all the excitement of finding the right pumpkin.
The hayride back to the barn, where apple cider and cookies awaited, for
everyone.
Pumpkins were loaded in the bus along with other goodies that were bought in the store then
tired and sleepy children were seated where they could lean against an adult and nap on the
way back to Ms. Roses Childcare school.
Growing Roses Early Learning for Children in just that, helping the child rose buds to grow and bloom into beautiful little
children.my memories and fondness of all of my trips with Ms. Rose and her Rose buds will forever be a part of my heart.

“Ms. Rose and Growing Roses has been a home to us from day 1. I have never met anyone
more apt to become a childcare provider. She is born to do this and its reflected in her work in
every way. The care and patience she has while simultaneously keeping organized schedules
and activities amazes us every day. Our family really got lucky with finding Ms. Rose and Mr.
Stu”

We found Growing Roses when our first son was born and he attended until he was ready for
kindergarten. Along with his brother who attended until we had to move out of the area. Ms. Rose
creates an atmosphere that is safe and loving, treating your family like her own. The kids are engages in
fun and educational activities every day like singing songs, dancing, reading and real life skills like how to
take care of an infant using baby dolls to feed, burp and swaddle. My eldest child still remembers to
plays he got perform in during the show time unit. He acted out the part of Olaf in Frozen and then a
special viewing of the play was played for all the families. He was so proud as were we. Not only is it fun
but Ms. Rose strives to educate her little students’ that they are beyond prepared for kindergarten. My
child’s knowledge of the alphabet, numbers, letters and his handwriting were beyond that of his peers
because of Ms. Rose’s guidance and dedication in these areas. We were blessed to have our children
attend Growing Roses and would highly recommend it to anyone looking for an excellent kindergarten
readiness program.

As a young mom, of course I was very nervous looking for childcare for my first child. What
mom wouldn’t feel this way? Someone recommended that I call child care links to get a list of
recommendations for in home childcare centers. As an educator I wanted to find a small,
nurturing in home care provider who would be able to give my baby individual attention while
also socializing his with other children. As I visited various types of childcare in – home centers,
I was surprised at how little structure they offered, I was beginning to worry id never find a good
fit. As a matter of fact, I was ready to have a serious discussion with my husband about having
to leave my job – and I love my job.
I had one more place on the list to call. When I made the initial meeting with Ms. Rose on the
phone, I can tell just by speaking to her that I might have found “the one”. It turned out I stuck
gold in finding Ms. Rose! I was thrilled to hear not only did she offer childcare, but she a full
accredited preschool program too! It was clear from that first meeting that my son was going to
be very well cared for , and actually thrive being with Ms. Rose. Being part of Growing Roses
was truly a family affair not only for my two children but also for me and my husband, Ms. Rose
helped us through our own growing pains as parents. I loved the daily consistency and routines
that Ms. Roses instilled.
Ms. Rose set herself apart from other in home childcare centers by going above and beyond to
help our children growing all aspects of life. My kids learned confidence from performing at
family day celebrations and holiday gatherings, my kids even had the opportunity to perform on
the field at the iron bird’s games. She planned family trips and welcomed family to join in special
events. My mom volunteered many times and helped with craft days. It made me feel so good
that my mom could be a part of the Growing Roses family too. Not only did I feel my children
were safe all week but was proud to talk about all they were learning and how thrilled I was they
were at Growing Roses.
When my kids began kindergarten, they were more than ready to read and write having learned
many sight words. Her curriculum was top notch.
I like to tell people she helped raise us as parents too. My children are 13 and 16 now and many
of their most fond memories with their Growing Roses family. Ms. Rose has such a genuinely
caring nature that exudes joy in her world with children. all these years later, Ms. Rose and Mr.
Stu and their family are regular topics of conversation many times, the kids will bring something
up and I’ll tell them they learned it from Ms. Rose! Now my children give back to Ms. Rose
when they can by visiting and helping her in the summers.
We were blessed to find Ms. Rose and for that, I am truly grateful. That influence she has had
on my son and daughter immeasurable. I dearly hold tight the memories we had being part of
Growing Roses. She holds a special place in mine and my children’s hearts forever.

Even though I attended growing Roses at a young age, the experience is worth remembering. I am now 21 and Ms. Rose is so passionate about teaching young
children and you can tell she loves her job as much as she loves us. From holiday parties the Ripken Stadium to weekly learning activities, she always keeps her
children engaged and interested in learning, my absolute favorite thing to do with. her was going to the iron birds and performing in front of tons of people
before the game! Ms. Roses includes everyone and loves to teach her children simple routines to perform in front of parents. I remember when Ms. Rose gave
me and a few other students had the opportunity to perform our school song in front of the parents. This was special to me because Ms. Rose didn’t have to take time out of her day to allow to sing a song about another school. She could have kept it Growing Roses Strictly, but she didn’t. she always has the best interests
at heart for her student

I met Ms. Rose in 2006 while working at a local grocery store. We would always chat about
what she was doing with childcare. I’d tell her id love for my daughter to attend. Finally, that day
when she had an opening. My daughter attended for a few years and we made so many
memories from Christmas parties to performing at the iron Birds stadium. I always knew my
daughter was well cared for and she enjoyed her time at Ms. Roses. So enjoyed it so much that
she spent a lot of time helping out and volunteering throughout the years. I also spent a lot of
time and helping and volunteering and eventually become a substitute and I still am today, I
loved that we stayed in contact and remain close all of these years.

I have yet to find another daycare provider like Ms. Rose. When I moved to Maryland from Virginia , I was expecting my first baby. I didn’t know anyone in the area and had a very small window to find childcare for my daughter. When I met Ms. Rose and saw the daycare I knew my little baby would be in great hands! As a first time mom, Ms. Rose sent me pictures and updates to ease my mind throughout the work day when I returned back to work. All of the families and children who attended at the time were great and very close knit. Almost 11 years later and my mom and I always say “There’s no one like Ms. Rose” we keep in touch to this day and send cards pictures to each other. I’m glad my first experience with daycare was at Growing Roses and love that my little Na’lani’s tiny footprint is on the wall with all of the other children Ms. Rose has helped shape. She’s special.

My daughter has been attending Growing Roses since she was 2. She is now 3 and the amount of growth I’ve seen in her is incredible. She has learned so much already and I know she will be well prepared for kindergarten. Her work is always sent home at the end of the week and I’m amazed more and more each week. Ms. Rose and Mr. Stu are so great with the children. You can tell they love what they do. And that to me is extremely important. My daughter absolutely loves them! I myself, attended Growing Roses when I was younger and had such a great experience then and I’m so happy to have my daughter having the same experience I did. I couldn’t recommend Growing Roses enough!

We have been with Growing Roses for ten years now. Mrs. Rose has provided excellent care for our two sons now since they both were 3 months old. Her consistency and reliability always made us feel comfortable when returning back to work. Not only is top notch care given, but Mrs Rose utilizes high quality curriculum that enabled our sons to become early readers. Even during the year of uncertainty, Mrs Rose made sure to maintain relationships and provide instruction to all of the children in her care. I would (and have) highly recommend Growing Roses to any family who wants exemplar care and education for their children.

My daughter started with Growing Roses not long after she turned 1. She was with Rose for about 9 years. I could list a thousand things I loved about mine and my daughters experience with Growing Roses, but to keep it short, this wasn’t a “Daycare” for her. It was a school, it was a home away from home for her, it was a safe space for her…she was well taught and well loved. We were beyond blessed to have found her and to have had that experience.

Growing Roses has been part of my life for many years. First, as great neighbors; then, as a caring,
creative place for my daughter’s after school activities; and now, as a full time daycare for my granddaughter.
Rose still exudes the same enthusiasm now as she did when we first met more than twenty years ago. Additionally, Rose has consistently updated herself professionally as well as her home’s security and organization for a welcoming environment.
Growing Roses is definitely a wonderful experience for the child and their family.

Both my kids were at Growing Roses for before and after school care. We loved the family feel and the family activities Growing Roses participated in. Most memorable events were the
times at Ripken Stadium when the children performed the songs and dances on the field
before the game. Ms. Rose has dedicated her life to taking care of children and teaching them the fundamentals of pre-school learning. We’re proud to be part of the Growing Roses family

Growing Roses Early Learning for Children is truly the best in home daycare you will ever find.
My son Easton started at this daycare when he was an infant, and moved through all of the
programs until he graduated and entered kindergarten. It was because of Mrs. Rose’s
kindergarten readiness program that my son was more than prepared for kindergarten.
Growing Roses was my children’s home away from home and Mrs. Rose and Mr. Stu quickly
became apart of our extended family. They took care of my boys as if they were their own and
created the most safe and nurturing environment a parent could ever want for their child.
Their passion for what they do, and their dedication to the growth and development of the
children in their care is evident. From the engaging, differentiated daily lessons they plan to the
parent teacher conferences, Mrs. Rose always took the extra time to explain what
developmental appropriate activities my younger son was engaged in and what skills my pre
schooler was working on.
Choosing the right daycare for your child is one of the most important decisions that parents
need to make, and after my first meeting with Mrs. Rose I knew she was going to be the perfect fit. I will be forever grateful for all Growing Roses did for my family and would highly recommend Growing Roses Early Learning for Children to anyone around!
